Deposition Services

SCHEDULING - Using our network, we will arrange for a deposition with an excellent reporter anywhere, nationally and internationally. Make just one phone call to Moretti & Murphy and we will make all the arrangements. We also will produce the job and deliver the high quality you expect, just as if the deposition was taken in your office or one of ours. The deposition may be incorporated into our system, archived and uploaded into our secure web-based repository.

ONLINE DEPOSITION SCHEDULING - There is no need to call. Click on schedule a deposition and we’ll contact you regarding your request. Besides our headquarters in Kalamazoo, MI, we have 12 other conveniently located conference room sites offering complete court reporting services.

SCHEDULE AN INTERNET DEPOSITION - Receive the transcript in real time on your computer, wherever you are located.

REPOSITORY - You will receive an e-mail to notify you that your job is complete and waiting in the repository. Log onto our secure web site and download your documents. Transcripts and exhibits will reside there until the case is settled or ended. Attorneys and staff can look at all the cases they are individually working. Using a firm’s password, they can also look at all the firm’s cases. Access can be given to experts, insurance people or other third parties involved in the case.

DOCUMENT SCANNING - We scan all exhibits which allows us to put all your transcripts and exhibits for a case on a CD. We can hyperlink the exhibits so that as you are reading a transcript on the CD and come to an exhibit reference, all you do is click on it and it appears on the screen instantly. This allows you to actually carry an entire case on a CD. We also can put them on varying sizes of flash drives so they are portable, and you can then search through the documents.

SECURE ELECTRONIC TRANSCRIPT DELIVERY - Minuscript allows you to receive transcripts via e-mail in an easy to use, secure and encrypted way. You can instantly pinpoint every occurrence of keywords, copy and paste citations and even print the transcript and keyword index. You may also forward the Minuscript to your experts and import them into your own transcript management software.

SYNCHRONIZED VIDEO - We can synchronize the video with the transcript and hyperlink the exhibits which allows you to easily review deposition footage, find key segments, then create and export clips for use in trial presentation programs.

Our software combines powerful litigation management and trial presentation tools with an efficient and easy to use interface. We can help manage documents, transcripts, multi-media, videotaped depositions and other key elements of a case with ease. You can create video clips “on the fly,” manage, arrange and import data, display and print a wide variety of document formats, print condensed transcripts and reports, edit video files, search transcripts, OCR and image databases, create your courtroom presentations and present all the data in the way most helpful to you and your staff.

Moretti & Murphy provides transcripts in either Minuscript or E-transcript, or electronic document “bundles”. We offer a secure, password protected web based repository for transcripts, exhibits and videos.

OCR or Optical Character Recognition is the process of digitally assigning a fully searchable text file to the electronic image created during scanning. OCR provides an inexpensive and highly efficient method to perform keyword searches of an entire document collection and retrieve relevant documents in a matter of seconds. We scan all the documents into digital formats, such as JPG, TIF or PDF.
